Rim Al Jundi is a Lebanese artist born in 1965. Her paintings often reflect the anguish of emigration and separation of families. Her figures convey vulnerability and anxiety, with skin tones the color of chocolate and curves uniting in white and yellow lines. Al Jundi’s paintings have been widely exhibited since her solo debut in 1993. She studied fine art at the Lebanese American University and pursued two degrees in sacred art.
