Nevine Mattar is a versatile Lebanese-American artist who uses various mediums including design, murals, paintings, Papier-mâché, books and illustrations, and collage to express her art. She has studied Sumi-e in Japan and Painting and Illustration in London, Los Angeles, and New York. Mattar currently teaches Cultural Studies at several universities in Lebanon and is involved in various community activities related to recycling and art. She is also the founder of the first Papier-Mâché Association in Lebanon.
