About Shafic Abboud

Chafic Abboud (1926-2004) was a Lebanese painter. He is considered one of the most important Lebanese artists of the 20th century. Abboud’s work is characterized by its use of bold colors and its exploration of themes of identity, memory, and the human condition. He often painted landscapes, but he also incorporated elements of mythology and symbolism into his work.
