About Anas Albraehe

Human psychology being primarily self-conscious and aware of the gaze of the other, such was the subject that attracted Albraehe’s attention and fascination. As a student of fine arts, psychology, and art therapy combined, Anas has explored this subject through his oil on canvas works. In a style best approximated to abstract expressionism, Albraehe has depicted precise scenes, people and objects from his day-to-day experience across Lebanon and Syria, in a constant effort to understand the phenomenon of the gaze of the other, a concept that is fundamentally concealed from each of our individual modes of perception.
