Annie Kurkdjian is a Lebanese artist who creates powerful and poignant paintings portraying beings in tortured postures. Her artwork is characterized by the sincerity of her approach, capable of sublimating everything including war, crime, shame, sickness, and tragedy. Despite her traumatic experiences during the Lebanese civil war and the loss of her father, Kurkdjian found solace in art and has exhibited her work in several countries.
