Chucrallah Fattouh is a Lebanese painter and sculptor born in Monsef, Lebanon in 1956. He graduated with honors from the Faculty of Fine Arts at the Lebanese University in 1983 and began painting at a young age, drawing early inspiration from the shores of his hometown. Fattouh’s work has been exhibited in more than one hundred national and international exhibitions, including at the Sursock Museum in Beirut, the Grand Palais in Paris, Scope Art Show in Miami, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum. His artworks have also appeared in major international auctions, including Bonhams and Sotheby’s in London. Recognized for his contribution to Lebanese and international art, Fattouh has received several awards, including a medal from Queen Elizabeth in 2007 and an award from the Tokyo Metropolitan Art Museum in 2023. His works are held in notable private collections worldwide.
