Samir Tamari is a Lebanese artist born in 1958 in Beirut. He started drawing and painting at a young age and pursued studies in Art and Advertising Techniques in Montreal, Canada. Tamari’s compositions are based on figurative and abstract styles and his works always carry an underlying message waiting to be discovered by the viewer. Tamari’s style is sincere, fresh, and filled with real-life messages and analogies. His recent exhibition was in Beirut in June 2017. According to Tamari, he paints to express himself and his style is like a soothing balm applied over a poignant topic.
