Rawia Ghandour Zantout’s journey is a testament to passion and determination. Born in Lebanon in 1971, she faced opposition from her father regarding an artistic degree. However, Rawia’s love for the arts remained unyielding. While studying Business and Finance, she pursued art courses and became a self-taught artist.

Rawia draws inspiration from Impressionist painters, capturing enchanting reflections found in nature. Early in her career, she focused on creating art for children, founding the “Mishmash Kids Club” to nurture artistic skills. Her talent gained recognition, leading to commissioned paintings for Banks with an emphasis on ecological themes in Lebanon. Thousands received her works as lithographs, expanding her audience.

In 2007, Rawia ventured into political art, immortalizing the March 14 Revolution in a painting displayed in the office of Saad Hariri, the former prime minister of Lebanon. Her profound passion for fine arts shaped a unique style characterized by layered paint for a textured 3D effect. She painted portraits of world and Lebanese leaders, including figures like Vladimir Putin, Michel Aoun, Troels Povlsen, Saad Hariri, and Fouad Seniora. Her art adorns various official locations like the Kremlin and the lebanese Seray.

Rawia’s artwork captivates collectors, galleries, and interior architects. Her distinctive style and vision earned her a rising reputation. She establishes connections with clients, understanding their needs and fostering strong relationships. Whether creating commissioned pieces or exhibiting in galleries, Rawia’s art impresses and inspires.

She has participated in numerous exhibitions in London, Paris, New York, Dubai, Lebanon and received several awards for her talent. Rawia’s work is represented by several international and renowned galleries like Artcenturies.ch, Saatchi Art, Arnet, Artsy, Artsper, 1st Dibs, Msquare Gallery.

In April 2024 she was selected to be a member of THE ART ASSOCIATION and also her work are work is part of the book (TAA artists for Peace Anthology 2024) that  is sold worldwide in a mission to promote peace and ease the suffering in the world. The Art Association is a Swiss non profit association encouraging peaceful engagement through art 

Rawia’s story embodies perseverance and passion. She carved a path in the art world. Through her paintings, she continues to captivate and leave a lasting impression on audiences.
