Yosra Habhab

born 1975

Yosra Habhab is a Lebanese painter working in a modernized classicist approach, primarily in oil. Her compositions are marked by vivid, expressive color and a sensitivity to form rooted in figurative tradition.

Largely self-directed, her artistic development was shaped by study and mentorship across different cultural contexts, with notable influence from Iranian painters. She began her formal training in charcoal drawing with Professor Ashraf Valli, later studying under Professor Abbas Katouzian and Rahim Navesi of the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
