Zoha Abdulsater, based in Beirut, Lebanon, holds a Master of Arts in Comparative Literature, with a specialization in applying psychoanalytic theories to various art forms, particularly Salvador Dali’s works. Her unique artistic perspective is shaped by exploring the intersection between literature and visual art. Zoha’s techniques blend traditional and modern digital methods, reflecting her personal experiences with technology from pre-cell phone times to the age of iPads and AI.
Her paintings, deeply influenced by her background in structural psychoanalysis, are introspective and symbolic, inviting viewers to explore the complexities of the human psyche and engage in a dialogue between image and text. Each brushstroke in her work carries a narrative, encouraging self-discovery and reflection.
Currently, Zoha is expanding her artistic repertoire by exploring sculpture, adding a three-dimensional aspect to her work. This new venture continues her journey of intertwining literature, painting, and now sculpture into a rich tapestry of expression and exploration.
