About Adnan Jetto

In a very personal style that does not hold back on expressive detail, Adnan Jetto’s artwork found its central theme in another artform: dance. In a collection of forty or so paintings, which he’s entitled ‘Dancing It All Out’, Jetto reveals a mastery of composition, and a subtle understanding of color harmony and dissonance. The theme of harmony and dissonance is made all the-more relevant to Adnan’s work, when we remember that the core theme, dance, is intrinsically tied to musical expression. Adnan’s artwork sees him as the witness of a dance, in his best attempt to understand the driving desire, the inner longing that produces such intricate, personal, and uniquely complex patterns of movement.
