About Chucrallah Fattouh

Fattouh’s collection of works stands out in its versatility, and yet, there seems to be a common thread that spans across his entire body of work. In a highly abstract style, with an often limited color palette, Chucrallah’s style bears a trace of expressionism, when representing a variety of his subjects of interest: urban and rural landscapes or scenes, as well as the female silhouette. His larger body of work lies somewhere on the spectrum of expressionism, in different degrees of figuration or abstraction.
