A unique sense of simplicity transpires through Zbib’s mixed-media works, often limiting herself to as little as two or three principal colors. To convey a wide panoply of human experience, Fadwa often seems to return to an element that is prevalent across her work: side profiles of human faces that bear her very own sense of dimension and shape. The limited color choices leave much to interpretation, reeling us into the artist’s inner world.
