About Ihab Ahmad

Ihab Ahmad is a Beirut-born artist whose works are inspired by his childhood memories. He uses painting to abandon frustrations and focus on dreaming, sending a message of hope to his generation. His artworks feature harmonized and vivid creatures in a land free of fear, worry, or malice. Ihab has a symbiotic relationship with his familiar yet imaginary symbols, resulting in an intense and bright abstraction. He is influenced by Paul Klee’s work and is also the founder of Beirut Art Studio, teaching Art and Design.
