About Pascale Massoud
Pascale Raymond Massoud (born in Lebanon in 1966) is a Lebanese contemporary artist known for her thoughtful visual art that blends emotional introspection with social and cultural themes. She works primarily in painting, mixed media, sculpture, and installation. She holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree, which she completed in 2012. In addition to her studio practice, she has formal training in art restoration, underscoring a strong technical foundation. Massoud’s work explores deep inner experiences, identity, and social commentary. For example: Her piece “Spider” reflects on a woman’s desire for peace and justice, symbolizing strength and resilience. Her installation “Inner Selfie” challenges viewers to look beyond external appearances and explore the inner self through meditation and self-reflection. Massoud has participated in numerous solo and collective exhibitions, both locally and internationally, showcasing her artistic range and engagement with contemporary issues. She has also been featured in art gatherings and exhibitions in Lebanon, such as group shows and art fairs. She runs her own art studio in Fanar, Lebanon, where she teaches art and creative workshop programs, helping young artists and art enthusiasts develop their skills. Massoud is known for fostering artistic learning and expression within her community. She has been involved in art organizations such as LAAPS (Lebanese Artists Association for Plastic Arts and Sculptures)and Member of the administrative board of the Fine Artists Syndicate for ten years till this year 2026.and she is one of the founders of cultural groups like “Moultaka Alalwan Alfanni” and member of “Linaltaki”. She also works as a facilitator in peace-building circles, using art as a tool for reflection and dialogue.
