About Zainab Dandash Tarraf
Zainab Dandash Tarraf is a Lebanese visual artist whose practice is shaped by a strong academic background and a long-standing engagement with art and education. She holds a diploma in Law from the Lebanese University and a Master’s degree in Fine Arts—Plastic Arts—from the Lebanese University, graduating with honors in 2018. She also worked as a French-language teacher for 13 years. Tarraf is a member of the Lebanese Syndicate of Fine Artists, the Association of Lebanese Artists, and the Syndicate of Artists of the Bekaa. Her solo exhibitions include The Clamor of Silence (Fairuziyat) at Galerie Zaman in Beirut in 2018, A Lifetime Together in 2022, and My Mother in Flowers in 2023. Her work has been presented in exhibitions, art fairs, symposiums, and cultural forums across Lebanon, Spain, Monaco, Italy, Qatar, Syria, Egypt, Jordan, and Tunisia. Her international participation includes the Monaco Art Fair, the QIAF Qatar International Art Festival, the Mediterranean Exhibition in Bologna, A Celestial Symphony in Madrid, and the Panorama Exhibition in Madrid.
