About Darwiche Chamaa

Darwiche Chamaa is an artist who was born in Gabon but has lived in Lebanon for 30 years. He studied Technical Architectural Drawing and Fine Arts, earning a Diploma of Higher Studies in 2004 and a Master’s in Fine Arts in 2006 from the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts. Chamaa currently teaches at the Lebanese International University and has exhibited his work in several group and solo exhibitions in Lebanon, including at the Sursock Museum and the French Cultural Center in Beirut. His work is also included in private collections, such as the Farhat Art Museum.
